Another anticipated 2018 bout is no more, as Frankie Edgar has been forced out of his main event clash with Chan Sung Jung at UFC Fight Night 139 on Nov. 10 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, per a recent report by ESPN.

Edgar, who injured his left biceps during training, will be replaced by fellow featherweight contender Yair Rodriguez, who is coming off his own last-minute injury.

While this is a small set back for Edgar who could make an early 2019 return, fight fans still get a fantastic main event for UFC’s return to Denver.

Rodriguez, 26, has only lost to Edgar in UFC competition. The talented featherweight striker hasn’t fought since his bout with “The Answer” well over a year ago so he’s going to be looking to impress in his return. A victory over a well-known brawler like “Korean Zombie” will put Rodriguez right back where he was before his loss to Frankie.

As for Jung, 31, he’ll try to win his second fight in a row since returning from his mandatory military service in South Korea. The former UFC featherweight title challenger stills look to be the same fighter he was back in 2012, which is really exciting from a spectator’s standpoint. Another flashy knockout finish for “Korean Zombie” this November could score the veteran his second UFC title shot.
