Leon Edwards has unfinished business with Jorge Masvidal.

Not longer after his impressive decision win over Gunnar Nelson at UFC Fight Night 147, Edwards got into a scuffle with Masvidal backstage at London’s O2 Arena.

After taunting Masvidal during a post-fight interview, Edwards was blasted with a three-punch combination by the former street fighter, with security intervening before he had a chance to fight back.

Yesterday Masvidal, who knocked out Darren Till in the UFC Fight Night 147 main event, ridiculed Edwards on social media, brushing off a potential grudge match with the Brit due to his lower ranking in the welterweight division.

“I got these two little sluts, one’s from England, one’s from some suburb calling me out,” Masvidal wrote on Instagram. “One’s not in the Top 10 and the other one that is hasn’t got a victory in the UFC, didn’t make the dude tap, didn’t put him to sleep, but you think you have a win in the UFC. Who are you fooling?”

Masvidal went on to call Edwards a little b-tch, which prompted the following response from ‘Rocky’ on twitter.

“You know rankings don’t mean shit, you just came from 11 to fight #3. Stop making excuses and come get this smoke,” Edwards posted on Thursday evening.

Although Edwards is doing his best to market a fight with ‘Gamebred,’ it looks as if Masvidal will fight Ben Askren at UFC 239 in Las Vegas.
