Brazilian banger Allan Nascimento has been pulled from his Su Mudaerji fight at the upcoming UFC Vegas 83 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, scheduled for this Sat. night (Dec. 9, 2023) on ESPN+ from inside the promotion’s APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.
That’s the bad news.
The good news is that longtime flyweight veteran and Ultimate Fighter (TUF) champ Tim Elliott is stepping in to replace Nascimento on just five days’ notice, according to a report from Patrick McCorry, signing a new, four-fight UFC contract in the process.
Originally scheduled for flyweight, the bout will now be contested at 135 pounds.
Elliott (19-13-1) recently had his two-fight win streak snapped by tapping to Muhammad Mokaev at the UFC 294 pay-per-view (PPV) event back in October. As for Su Mudaerji (16-5), he’s looking to rebound from a submission defeat to Matt Schnell at UFC on ABC 3.
