Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up to stage the stacked UFC 239: “Jones vs. Santos” pay-per-view (PPV) event this Saturday night (July 6, 2019) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Spearheading the biggest event of the year is none other than Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who looks to collect title defense number three since Dec. 2018 when he faces Thiago Santos. Blessed with massive power in both hands, “Marreta” looks to shock the sports world by handing “Bones” his first-ever true defeat.

Jones, meanwhile, is so close to cleaning out the 205-pound division that a win over Santos could expedite his move up to Heavyweight. As long as the promotion “takes care of him,” of course.

In the co-main event, women’s “champ-champ” Amanda Nunes will defend her Bantamweight title against former division champion Holly Holm. If “Lioness” can pick up a win over “Preacher’s Daughter,” she will be the first and only female fighter to have wins over Holm, Ronda Rousey, Cris Cyborg and Miesha Tate.

That’s GOAT status!

Before all of the action goes down in “Sin City,” all of the main players give you a behind-the-scenes look at just what goes down during the ever-busy fight week.

From the official YouTube description:

On Episode 1 of UFC 239 Embedded, light heavyweight champion Jon Jones pushes himself hard at an S&C session, then roots for a friend’s football team. Challenger Thiago Santos follows his Las Vegas training session with a Brazilian barbecue and singalong. Double-champion Amanda Nunes sharpens her skills at the UFC Performance Institute, then watches her teammate Junior Dos Santos in the main event from Minneapolis. UFC 239 Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog leading up to the two title fights taking place Saturday, July 6 on Pay-Per-View.
