Now I know where all those bison burgers come from.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight champion, Max Holloway, got to Canada several days before his UFC 240 pay-per-view (PPV) main event against Frankie Edgar, which takes place this Sat. night (July 27, 2019) inside Rogers Arena in Edmonton.
With most of his intense training behind him, “Blessed” has plenty of time to kill in between media responsibilities, so the Hawaiian and his team have been out seeing some of the local sights, which include mangy animals with giant-sized poops.
They saw bison, too.
Something tells me the promotion won’t be crazy about watching Holloway dangle from those ropes at the Aerial Park, especially considering the wide margin for injury, but it’s hard not to get a few laughs from the featherweight champion as he goes about his day, which includes scaring the shit out of his coach.
Also featured in Episode 2 of “Embedded,” Edgar wraps up his training camp with a run at the Jersey shore, where he skips the funnel cake and goes right to the beach. Co-headliners Cristiane Justino and Felicia Spencer also get some airtime ahead of their 145-pound showdown, which marks the final fight of “Cyborg’s” current UFC contract.
