Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion, Frankie Edgar, has been competing inside the Octagon since his UFC 67 decision win over Tyson Griffin way back in early 2007.
UFC women’s featherweight contender Felicia Spencer was just 15.
So as an aspiring mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter, the undefeated “FeeNom” grew up watching “The Answer,” one of the most successful fighters to ever compete at both lightweight and featherweight.
Now she gets to fight (and fly) alongside him.
Edgar challenges Max Holloway for the featherweight title in the UFC 240 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, while Spencer co-headlines against former women’s 145-pound titleholder, Cris Cyborg. The action takes place this Sat. night (July 27, 2019) inside Rogers Arena in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
