A women’s bantamweight fight between Tonya Evinger and Lina Lansberg has been added to UFC Stockholm.

A women’s bantamweight fight between Tonya Evinger and Lina Lansberg has been added to the UFC’s card in Stockholm, Sweden in June.

The UFC officially announced the fight on Wednesday. It is the promotion’s first card in the Swedish capital in over two years, with the last event taking place in Stockholm being UFC Fight Night 109 in May 2017.

Evinger (19-7, 1NC) is yet to pick up a win in her UFC career, losing her first two fights for the promotion. The former Invicta FC featherweight champion was signed to the UFC in June 2017, she lost her debut the following month when she challenged Cris Cyborg for the vacant UFC women’s featherweight title. Evinger last fought at UFC 229 in October 2018 when she lost to Aspen Ladd by first-round TKO.

Much like her opponent, Lansberg (8-4) begun her UFC career with a one-sided loss to Cyborg. She has since struggled to pick up consecutive wins, winning decisions against Lucie Pudilova and Gina Mazany, but dropping fights to Ladd and most recently Yana Kunitskaya in the process.

UFC on ESPN+ 10 takes place at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden on June 1st. A light heavyweight fight between Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Smith will headline the card.
