Evolve MMA to open fourth facility in Singapore

Evolve MMA will be opening a branch at a brand new location in Singapore, its fourth facility in the country.

Thew news was announced today on Facebook.

BREAKING NEWS: Evolve MMA expands again with a brand new, state-of-the-art academy at ONE KM Shopping Mall on the East Coast of Singapore! Stay tuned for details on our Grand Opening!

There are already Evolve MMA locations at Far East Square, Orchard Central and POMO Mall and the instructors include Muay Thai champions Orono Wor Petchpun, Nong-O Gaiyanghadao and Sam-A Gaiyanghadao, boxing world champion Yodsanan Sityodtong and BJJ world champions Leandro Issa and Michelle Nicolini.

Owning a martial arts facility in South East Asia isn’t necessarily a license to print money. Epic MMA in Hong Kong went into liquidation earlier this year with all the branches abruptly closing leaving members in the lurch.

But Evolve MMA continues to go from strength to strength in Singapore with facilities set up in some of the country’s most prestigious shopping malls and an army of loyal members.

Having so many different locations means that, if necessary, fight team members can face each other. Next month fight team members Ben Askren and Shinya Aoki will face off for the former’s ONE welterweight title with both training at separate Evolve MMA facilities in Singapore.
