A flyweight fight between Eye and Lee is on the way to the UFC’s November 13th Fight Night event.

Top fifteen flyweights are expected to meet at an upcoming UFC Fight Night event scheduled for November.

Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie has reported that a fight between No. 8 ranked Jessica Eye and No. 11 ranked Andrea Lee is currently in the works, with Eye seemingly confirming the news on her social media. The event does not have a location or venue set at the time of this writing, but is expected to take place at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas.

Eye is on a three-fight losing streak. The former one-time title challenger has dropped unanimous decisions to Cynthia Calvillo, Joanne Calderwood and most recently Jennifer Maia. Her last win came against Viviane Araújo at UFC 245, where she rebounded from the first knockout loss of her professional career with a unanimous decision over the Brazilian prospect.

Lee is looking for another victory this year after returning to the win column with a second-round submission over Antonina Shevchenko at UFC 262 this past May. The win over Shevchenko ended a three-fight losing streak for Lee, who lost two of those by way of split decision in back-to-back outings against the previously mentioned Calderwood and Lauren Murphy. Lee followed those with a unanimous decision loss to Roxanne Modafferi at UFC Fight Night: Waterson vs. Hill in September.

The UFC Fight Night event is set for Saturday, Nov. 13 and is expected to be headlined by a featherweight fight between Max Holloway and Yair Rodriguez. Holloway and Rodriguez were supposed to fight earlier this year, but the former featherweight champion suffered an undisclosed injury and was forced to withdraw. UFC president Dana White revealed that the fight would be rescheduled on this prospective date, but nothing has been finalized yet.

The lineup is still in its infancy, with Eye vs. Lee being one of two new fights added to the event. A featherweight fight between Lando Vannata and Tucker Lutz is also being planned. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks.
