Fool me once…
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight champion Conor McGregor was in hot water, albeit temporarily, when he told reporters from TMZ that he would whoop Jesus’ ass if they ever threw down in mortal combat (see that video here).
As luck would have it, that same reporter surfaced at the UFC 196 press conference back on Wednesday (replay) and tried to land another headline by playing the race card.
“Notorious” wasn’t having it.
TMZ: “You called him a ‘cholo’ in there, that’s kind of racially motivated. Did you mean to say it like that?
McGregor: “Mate, shut the fuck up, will ya? Remember that Jesus shit you brought up? Such a stupid question. You’re an idiot.”

McGregor will fight Nate Diaz at the upcoming UFC 196 pay-per-view (PPV) event on March 5, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
