Derrick Lewis reveals why he hates UFC heavyweight champ Francis Ngannou.
With UFC president Dana White insisting that Derrick Lewis is next in line for a title shot, ‘The Black Beast’ has to find some way to hate Francis Ngannou.
But how?
Lewis joked that Ngannou makes him look ‘fat’ when stood next to him, and that’s all the motivation he needs to put a beating on the UFC heavyweight champion.
“He makes me look fat when I stand next to him so f*ck him,” Lewis joked to reporters at a UFC 262 media conference (h/t BJPenn.com). “F*ck Francis. And eat some Popeyes.”

Lewis, of course, doesn’t actually hate Ngannou but he isn’t exactly friends with ‘The Predator’ either.
“I really don’t like none of the guys that I fight, none of the guys in my division, just because the type of mindset I go into each and every fight,” he said. I don’t want to be friends with none of them. So f*ck them.”
Lewis beat Ngannou in one of the worst fights in UFC history back in 2018, edging a decision win over the latter after throwing just 20 strikes over the course of three rounds. Let’s hope, for all our sakes, we don’t get a repeat performance in the proposed rematch.
