Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently held a special pre-fight media day for the upcoming UFC 248: “Romero vs Adesanya” pay-per-view (PPV) event, going down on March 7, 2020, inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Taking center stage was Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, who collides with top contender Yoel Romero in what will be “Soldier of God’s” second championship fight. For “The Last Stylebender,” this will be his first attempt at defending his title after winning it at UFC 243.

This is the second time the two men come face-to-face, though an impromptu dance-off didn’t pop off this time around. But Adesanya did fake a backflip after Romero executed one during their first staredown a few months back.

Also getting some media love were the co-headliners, as women’s strawweight champion, Weili Zhang, came face-to-face with former division queenpin, Joanna Jedrzejczyk. As usual, Jedrzejczyk tried to get up-close and personal with her foe, and even threw in a little bit of trash talk. For her part, the usually-reserved Zhang wasn’t having it, and politely asked Joanna to “shut up,” which drew a laugh from the crowd and further irritated Jedrzejczyk.
