Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight titleholder, Fabricio Werdum, will headline the UFC Fight Night 127 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on UFC Fight Pass, taking place this Saturday night (March 17, 2018) inside O2 Arena in London, England.

That’s where he’ll face streaking heavyweight bruiser Alexander Volkov.

Werdum (23-7-1) is trying to work his way back up to a heavyweight title fight since Stipe Miocic stripped him of the strap back in May 2016. Since then, “Vai Cavalo” has compiled a 3-1 record against ho-hum competition.

Let’s hope he leaves his boomerang at home.

Volkov (29-6) is the winner of five straight, including last September’s technical knockout win over Stefan Struve. Still just 29, “Drago” is 11 years younger than his Brazilian counterpart. Three of his six losses came under the Bellator MMA banner.

Check out their staredown video above, as well as the co-main event face off between light heavyweight standouts (and former UFC opponents) Jimi Manuwa and Jan Blachowicz.
