A featherweight matchup appears to be in the works for the upcoming UFC on Versus 4 event slated for end June. Matt “The Real One” Grice (9-3) makes his return to the UFC after a four bout absence, and Ricardo “The Bully” Lamas (9-2) makes his UFC debut at the event.

News of the bout was first reported by MMAWeekly.com who noted that only one fighter has verbally agreed to the fight.

UFC on Versus 4 is scheduled to take place on June 26 at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In the U.S. fans will get to watch the live main card via the Versus network, while Canadian fans can tune into Rogers Sportsnet for the live action.

Grice, who had a 1-3 stint at lightweight with the UFC, has won four fights in a row to earn his way back into the top promotion. He fought at local events in Oklahoma, erasing the last two defeats on his record, a technical submission loss to Shannon Gugerty at UFC 100, and a TKO loss to Matt Veach at UFC Fight Night 17.

Lamas enters the fight having been defeated in his last cage appearance. The former WEC fighter, who went 4-2 with the former promotion, was knocked out in the first round by Brazilian Yuri Alcantara in December at WEC 53. The defeat ended a three fight winning streak that saw “The Bully” earn victories over Dave Jansen, Bendy Casimir, and James Krause.
