Holly Holm has just signed a new six-fight deal with the UFC.

Holly Holm won’t be retiring anytime soon.

The 37-year-old recently extended her UFC contract and signed a brand new six-fight deal with the promotion, per MMA Fighting’s Marc Raimondi, who confirmed the news with Holm’s manager, Lenny Fresquez on Wednesday. The news was first reported by ESPN’s Ariel Helwani.

“We’re ready to get to work,” Fresquez said. “I’m sure the UFC will have some great plans to announce for Holly in the near future.”

Holm, the former women’s bantamweight champion, last fought at UFC 225, where she beat featherweight Megan Anderson via unanimous decision.

Since losing the bantamweight title to women’s MMA pioneer Miesha Tate in 2016, Holm has won just two fights in the Octagon, beating Megan Anderson and Bethe Correia but losing to Cris Cyborg, Germaine de Randamie, and Valentina Schevchenko. ‘The Preacher’s Daughter’ is 5-4 in the UFC, with her most notable win being a stunning head kick knockout of former bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey at UFC 193.

Holm was slated to fight Aspen Ladd earlier this month at UFC 235, but the bout fell through for undisclosed reasons. UFC president Dana White says he is ‘working on another fight for both of them.’
