Forget about a comeback, former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight champion and pound-for-pound king Georges St-Pierre will be hosting a new television show airing on Canada’s History Channel on April 14 at 9 and 9:30 pm ET.
While it isn’t surprising to see the mixed martial arts legend continuing his Hollywood crossover, the premise of the Canadian-based program is an unexpected treat. The show will be called “The Boneyard,” and it will feature GSP traversing the badlands of South Dakota, to the swamps of Alabama, to Argentina’s dinosaur graveyard, in search of information about modern palaeontology and prehistoric predator leftovers (H/T FOX Sports).
As a self-proclaimed Jurassic period connoisseur (sounds like a dinosaur to me), it’s good to see St-Pierre doing things he actually enjoys, unlike competing inside of the UFC Octagon. The 34-year-old superstar also took to Twitter back in September to further reveal his undying love for Dino DNA.
