UFC 220 fighter payouts for those athletes competing at the “Miocic vs Ngannou” pay-per-view (PPV) event on Saturday (Jan. 20, 2018) from inside TD Garden Arena in Boston, Mass., have been revealed.
Leading the way was Heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, who banked $600,000 following his five-round battle against Francis Ngannou (see it), who managed to rake in $500,000 in defeat. Stipe defeated “The Predator” via unanimous decision, breaking the consecutive defense record with three in a row.
Not a bad night for the hard-hitting strikers.
That said, unless Stipe is getting an undisclosed locker room bonus or more pay-per-view (PPV) points, to the naked eye it doesn’t look as if he got the pay raise he wanted — which led to a brief holdout — as his $600,000 pay is the same he earned for UFC 203.
Meanwhile, another big earner was Daniel Cormier, who banked $500,000 after walking right through Volkan Oezdemir, who scored an impressive $350,000 payday. Here is the complete list of UFC 220 payouts and salaries (via MMA Fighting):

Keep in mind the salaries listed above do not include fight bonuses, Reebok sponsorships, percentages and other unofficial payments. It also does not include deductions for expenses such as insurance, taxes, etc.
For example, the promotion often hands out extra cash for “Fight of the Night” and “Performance of the Night” bonuses.
