The biggest rematch in recent boxing history will go down on Feb. 22 from inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, as reigning WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (42-0-1, 41 KO) takes on undefeated English superstar Tyson Fury (29-0-1, 20 KO) in the biggest fight of 2020.
Remember, Wilder and Fury first met in December of 2018. The two heavyweight fighters battled for 12 unforgettable rounds that ended up resulting in a split draw. Wilder nearly knocked “Gypsy King” out along the way but Fury somehow rebounded to finish the fight strong. Fight fans have been waiting for the anticipated rematch ever since.
In preparation for the February showdown, Fury took to Twitter to announce official ticket sales and also to take a quick jab at “Bronze Bomber.”

“It?s on! Feb. 22 at MGM Grand Garden Arena, watch me knock out Deontay Wilder AKA The Big Dosser.? Tickets on sale TOMORROW at 10 a.m. PT (6 p.m. UK).?” wrote Fury via Twitter.
Tickets, which won’t come cheap for this Vegas rematch, go on sale tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. PT and can be purchased HERE.
As for Fury’s prediction of knocking out Wilder, that seems like the most unlikely scenario coming into the rematch. Not only does Wilder have the bigger knockout power but “Bronze Bomber” nearly decapitated Fury with a punch in their first affair. Fury has the volume striking to pick Wilder apart, but probably isn’t going to end the WBC champion with one shot.
Only time will tell which heavyweight walks away with the title this February. But if their first fight is any indication of what the rematch can be, Wilder vs. Fury 2 could end up going down as one of the best fights of all time.
