Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder reacted to Anthony Joshua’s upset loss.
The three top heavyweight boxers in Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua have talked quite a bit of smack towards each other in recent months. In light of Joshua’s upset loss to Ruiz though, Fury changed his tune and decided to take the high road, sending the now former heavyweight champion a nice message on social media.
We have our back and Forth’s but @anthonyfjoshua changed his stars through life. heavyweight boxing, these things happen, rest up, recover, regroup and come again

“We have our back and Forth’s but @anthonyfjoshua changed his stars through life,” he wrote. “heavyweight boxing, these things happen, rest up, recover, regroup and come again”
Wilder, on the other hand, did the opposite and used it as an opportunity to take shots at Joshua’s career.
He wasn’t a true champion. His whole career was consisted of lies, contradictions and gifts.

Joshua was dropped multiple times and eventually finished in the 7th round of his bout against Andy Ruiz. The late replacement now holds the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles. You can watch video of the incredibly shocking upset here.
Wilder and Fury have been recently been set for a rematch in 2020.
