Garbrandt continues war of words with Henry ‘Triple Coward’ Cejudo

Cody Garbrandt continues to go back-and-forth with ‘Triple C’.

Henry Cejudo and Cody Garbrandt are at it again.

After a brief back-and-forth on Twitter earlier this week, ‘No Chin’ and ‘Triple Coward’ are back on social media for round two — and this time, Raphael Assuncao has been caught up in the drama through no fault of his own.

“Triple C stands For Triple Coward you chose a guy who hasn’t fought in over 4 years @HenryCejudo come on @ufc!! side note Rafael I’ll see you before the summer is up…” Garbrandt posted on Tuesday evening, referencing Cejudo’s proposed bantamweight title defense against Dominick Cruz, who hasn’t fought in over three years.

“You just keep up with that great losing streak and I might just pick you. Cody Garbage,” Cejudo snapped back.

Garbrandt, who is on a three-fight losing streak, responded with the following Tweet.

“Looks like I’m on the right path to be Able to fight you then doughboy,” he said.

And that’s round two in the books, folks. The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has really brought out the best in all of us.

In other news, Cejudo is reported to defend his title against Cruz at the UFC APEX Center on May 9, per ESPN’s Brett Okamoto.
