Former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre responded to comments made by Michael Bisping recently regarding a potential fight at UFC 206 between the two.
And it doesn’t look good for a return.
St-Pierre stated in the video message posted on Twitter that he “made peace” with UFC president Dana White and met with one of the new co-owners last week, but “unfortunately, right now it’s not happening. Hopefully, things will change soon.”
GSP retired following a successful title defense over Johny Hendricks three years ago and has remained away from the sport since. He recently stated that his lawyer was able to obtain his release from a contract, though the UFC denied that being true.
