Germaine de Randamie will meet an opponent in the top five in her next UFC fight.
Coming off a TKO victory over Larissa Pacheco in March, the Dutch bantamweight is set to take on Sarah Kaufman at the UFC on FOX 17 card in Orlando on Dec. 19, the Orlando Sentinel reported on Friday.
de Randamie, a Strikeforce veteran who brings a 5-3 record to the table, is 2-1 under the UFC banner with a loss to 135-pound contender Amanda Nunes sandwiched by wins over Pacheco and Julie Kedzie.
Ranked No. 5 in the UFC, Kaufman (17-3, 1 no-contest) looks to get back on track after losing to Alexis Davis in May. Kaufman, who beat Davis twice before, also holds wins over the likes of Miesha Tate, Liz Carmouche, Shayna Baszler.
UFC on FOX 17 takes place at the Amway Center. In the main event, Donald Cerrone rematches Rafael dos Anjos for the lightweight championship, while former heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos takes on Alistair Overeem in the co-main event.
