Get on-boarded & outfitted with a UFC n00b wearing the Reebok for the first time

What’s it mean to get your first shot in the UFC? Once you show up to the makeshift event HQ, it means lots of paperwork and fitting.

For all the video blogs and behind the scenes footage that MMA fans get, it’s not that often that we actually get to see what it’s like to go through all the little details of getting ready for your first UFC fight. What does the UFC do to get your official height measurement? Turns out they do it like your parents did when they measured your height as a kid. A book against the wall and a pencil.

“The Bosnian Bomber” Damir Hadzovic gave fans a look at his processing from the UFC crew over in Croatia as he gets set to make his promotional debut. He’s joined by UFC welterweight NIcolas Dalby, and his Rumble Sports fight team for the journey as he gets sized up, fitted for his Reebok wear, and goes through his pre-event paperwork. It’s an interesting rare look at some of the smaller details of fighter life.

UFC Zagreb takes place on Sunday, April 10th, at Arena Zagreb in Croatia. The event is headlined by a heavyweight bout between Ben Rothwell and Junior dos Santos. Hadzovic is fighting Mairbek Taisumov on the FS1 prelims.
