Former MMA fighter Gina Carano was asked her thoughts on the current state of the women’s bantamweight division in the UFC recently on Twitter.
With Miesha Tate holding the title, some wonder if a third encounter with Ronda Rousey is in store should the champion successfully defend her title in July at UFC 200 vs. Amanda Nunes.
There is also the Holly Holm card sitting out there, as the former champion has lost just once – to Tate – and holds the only win over Rousey so far.
And Cris “Cyborg” Justino is set to make her UFC debut this Saturday at UFC 198, possibly adding her name to the talk. Cyborg was the last person to face Carano, besting her in Strikeforce.
I think they are all great fights… Just think they could stand to hold off on another Ronda vs Miesha 3 for a bit. https://t.co/HHoQzfXpfa
