Glory recently announced a string of fights and details on their upcoming shows. Here’s an update on the new announcements and what kickboxing fans have to look forward to.
Glory 40 is up first, taking place Saturday, April 29 in Copenhagen. The show is headlined by Jason Wilnis vs. Simon Marcus III for the Middleweight title. No new announcements there.
Glory 41 will be held on Saturday, May 20 in Holland. That show has gained a new world champion in action as Rico Verhoeven will take on Ismael Lazaar, a champion from Enfusion who makes his Glory debut here in a non-title fight. Interestingly, both Verhoeven vs. Lazaar and the previously announced Robin van Roosmalen vs. Petchpanomrung Featherweight title fight will be on the Superfight Series. That Superfight Series is stacked, with Murthel Groenhart vs. Harut Grigorian in a great fight as well. No word yet on any names for the proper Glory 41 card.
Finally, Glory 43 (yes, 43) was announced for July 14 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. This was the site of Glory 12, one of the company’s all-time best shows. No fights yet announced.
