Both George Groves and Chris Eubank Jr made weight for Saturday’s World Boxing Super Series semifinal matchup.
No drama at the George Groves vs. Chris Eubank Jr weigh-ins on Friday. Eubank Jr (26-1, 20 KOs) came in at 167.5 pounds, while WBA super-middleweight champion Groves (27-3, 20 KOs) weighed a few ounces less at 167.1. This World Boxing Super Series semifinal match is now official, and it’s definitely the most high-profile fight in either the super-middleweight or cruiserweight tournament.
The winner of Groves vs. Eubank Jr will take on the winner of Callum Smith vs. Jurgen Braehmer, who will fight on February 24th. London’s O2 Arena will host the final on Saturday, June 2nd.

World Boxing Super Series: Groves vs. Eubank Jr takes place at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England on Saturday, February 17th.
