Sean_McCorkleHeavyweight fighter, and ruler of the internet trash talk, Sean “Big Sexy” McCorkle (10-2) has been released from contract by the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

The news surfaced Friday at FiveOuncesOfPain.com who confirmed McCorkle’s release with a source close to the heavyweight.

His dismissal follows a second straight loss in the top promotion, following a second round technical submission defeat at the hands of Christian Morecraft at UFC Fight Night 24 on March 26 in Seattle. McCorkle was choked unconscious with a standing guillotine choke in the bout which aired on the UFC’s Facebook.com page. The other loss, the first of his career, occurred last December against Stefan Struve, who earned a first round TKO victory at UFC 124.

“Big Sexy” broke into the UFC after nine straight wins, signing with the promotion in July of 2010. His first fight was against former K-1 and PRIDE veteran Mark Hunt at UFC 119 in September. McCorkle would make short work of the “Super Samoan” by submitting him with a straight arm lock at 1:07 of the first round.
