Hector Lombard Uses Heel Hook To Submit Jesse Taylor At Australian Fighting Championship Event

Middleweight Hector Lombard (30-2-1) extended his unbeaten streak to twenty-four matches this past weekend by submitting TUF 7 alum Jesse ‘JT Money’ Taylor. Both men were fighting for the inaugural Australian Fighting Championship 185 lb title this past Saturday night in Melbourne, Australia.

In the first round of their bout, Taylor would attempt to shoot in for a takedown and would end up on the bottom of the scramble with Lombard on top. While the two fought for position, the Bellator champ would stand up from Taylor’s guard to grab his opponents left leg securing a heel hook submission to force the tap at 1:26.
