Featherweight prospect Charles Jourdain got back in the UFC win column earlier tonight (Sat., Mar. 13, 2021) at UFC Vegas 21 live on ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, when the Canadian striker stopped Octagon newcomer Marcelo Rojo via third-round TKO (punches).
This turned out to be one hell of a fight as Rojo came out firing and put Jourdain on notice. “Air” Jourdain responded with his own offense and really started to take control towards the end of the second round. In the third, Jourdain took his efforts to another level and clobbered Rojo with punches before scoring a knockdown. When Rojo returned to his feet Jourdain was there to smash him along the cage with strikes galore and finish the fight with a body punch.

Jourdain now pushes his UFC record to 2-2-1 after going winless in 2020. The talented featherweight seemed to turn it up in the later half of this fight so it will be interesting to see how aggressive he is his next time out. Remember, Jourdain is just 25 years old.
