Undefeated featherweight prospect Hyder Amil lit the Octagon ablaze earlier tonight (Sat., July 20, 2024) at UFC Vegas 94 live on ESPN/ESPN+ from inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, stopping Jeong Yeong Lee with a blistering standing TKO (punches).

The “Prelims” undercard was a bit of a snooze so fight fans were hoping the ESPN main card started off a little better. Luckily, matchmakers had it right when they pitted Amil against Lee. It took little time for the action to start and the two featherweights to absolutely throw down.

Amil eventually started to get the better of Lee on the inside and absolutely teed off for a massive combination. The UFC broadcast team later confirmed Amil landed 38-straight punches. It was more than enough to put Lee in a bad position along the cage and force the referee to step in for the rare standing knockout stoppage.

Check out the video highlights below:

Amil, 34, now moves to 2-0 inside the Octagon and 10-0 overall since turning pro back in 2017. Lee was pretty touted coming over from South Korea, but Amil overwhelmed him with pressure and punches from the early going. It took “The Hurricane” just 65 seconds to get the job done and has now set himself up nicely heading into the end of 2024.
