Jessica Andrade proved too vicious last night (Sat., Sept. 8, 2018) at UFC 228 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, when she brutally finished Karolina Kowalkiewicz via first-round knockout.
It didn’t take long for Andrade to rush in and apply heavy pressure on the Polish contender. Kowalkiewicz is such a tough fighter that she absorbed nearly every punch the Brazilian threw, as well as following up with her own offense. But during a close exchange minutes into the first round, Andrade clipped Kowalkiewicz with a blistering right hand that instantaneously cut the lights off.

With this performance, Andrade extends her current win streak to three after losing to former champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk back at UFC 211. With current champion Rose Namajunas now at the helm of the 115-pound division, Andrade may have just earned her way back into another UFC title fight.
