Jairzinho Rozenstruik showed off his world-class punching power earlier tonight (Sat. June 5, 2021) at UFC Vegas 28 live on ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, when “Bigi Boy” put a stop to heavyweight contender Augusto Sakai with a last-second TKO (punches) in the very first round.
Rozenstruik commanded the center of the cage early and didn’t allow Sakai to find his groove. Sakai did score some solid front kicks to the body, but Rozenstruik was plotting his move. With 10 seconds left in the first “Bigi Boy” connected with a left hook and a right hand behind the ear that sent Sakai crashing to the canvas. Rozenstruik jumped on top for one follow up shot before referee Herb Dean waved the fight off. The official stoppage was 4:59 of Round 1.
