A post-fight brawl nearly broke out earlier tonight (Sat., Jan. 25, 2025) at BKFC “KnuckleMania 5” LIVE on DAZN pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Penn., when a bantamweight clash between Phil Caracappa and Noah Norman ended with a disqualification due to cheap shots.
After Conor McGregor started off the “KnuckleMania 5” PPV main card with a grand entrance, Caracappa threw down with Norman to get the violence rolling. Norman had promised a quick finish in this 135-pound battle, but it was Caracappa who did the damage early. He was more polished on the feet and did good work to the body in the clinch.
Norman didn’t land too much of significance, but he did get checked for multiple late shots off the referee’s break. This included head butts and punches. One final late left hand off the break in the fourth round forced the referee’s hand. Norman was ultimately disqualified for the repeated cheap shots.
After the conclusion of the fight, Caracappa and Norman started to jaw at each other. That’s when Caracappa tried to make his way through a packed ring to confront Norman. Security and team members quickly stepped in to quiet things down. It’s probably a good thing they did because Caracappa looked pretty upset about the way the fight ended.
