While most were preparing for UFC 252 later tonight (Sat., Aug. 15, 2020) live on ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV), Top Rank Boxing sneaked in a boxing card on ESPN headlined by former WBA (Super) featherweight champion Carl Frampton (28-2) and it ended with an odd TKO finish.

Frampton, who is trying to rebuild his momentum after dropping a decision to Josh Warrington back in 2018, went toe-to-toe with Englishman Darren Traynor (16-4). While Frampton was the favorite to take care of business atop the Top Rank Boxing card, Traynor gave the Irishman a run for his money.

Luckily for Frampton, he was able to take control midway through the fight and land a beautiful left hook to the body. Traynor covered up and then oddly waved the fight off himself.

Check out the finish below:

Hopefully this isn’t the only knockout finish fight fans see tonight as UFC 252 is currently underway, but this may be the weirdest out of the bunch.
