Gennady Golovkin (41-1-1, 36 KO) absolutely demolished Polish boxer Kamil Szeremeta (21-1, 5 KO) earlier tonight (Fri., Dec. 18, 2020) live on DAZN from inside Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, knocking the middleweight fighter down multiple times en route to a seventh-round TKO stoppage.
Golovkin, who was coming in the heavy betting favorite, dominated every second of this fight. The defending IBF and IBO middleweight champion made Szeremeta look like a mere amateur, knocking the previously undefeated fighter down multiple times over the first few rounds. “GGG” could have ended the fight a lot sooner, but seemed to be enjoying his work. He eventually stopped Szeremeta in the seventh round after the referee finally stepped in.
