Bogdan Guskov put the light heavyweight division on notice earlier tonight (Sat., April 27, 2024) at UFC Vegas 91 live on ESPN+ from inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, when he stunned veteran Ryan Spann with a ridiculous 12-punch knockout finish.

Guskov came into this co-main event showdown a slight betting underdog despite coming off a first-round knockout finish over Zac Pauga. It was a toughh matchup against a larger and more well-rounded Spann, but Guskov did what was necessary to steal the show.

Spann did some good work early on with wrestling and top control. Guskov was forced to defend off his back and from a few close rear-naked choke attempts. Luckily for Guskov, the clocked save him from further danger and he was able to reset on the feet in the second.

Spann wasn’t able to bring Guskov down in the second round and that left a window of opportunity for Guskov. He connected with a big uppercut that badly hurt Spann. “Superman” was wobbled on his feet as Guskov moved in for follow up shots. Spann toppled to the canvas and Guskov kept piling on the punches. There were 12 in total before referee Herb Dean finally stepped in for the stoppage.
