Chan Sung Jung didn’t have to play the role of “Korean Zombie” earlier tonight (Sat., June 22, 2019) at UFC on ESPN+ 12 live on ESPN+ from inside Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, when he finished featherweight counterpart Renato Moicano in just 58 seconds.
It didn’t take long for “Korean Zombie” to step inside during an exchange and land a ridiculous right hand, followed by a short left on the way down, that hammered Moicano into the canvas. Jung followed up with heavy ground-and-pound and eventually forced the referee to step in for the early TKO stoppage.

With this performance, “Korea Zombie” once gain cashes in during a main event spot. The 32-year-old contender was coming off a relatively unlucky, last-second knockout from an invisible Yair Rodriguez elbow and still produced another highlight-reel finish. UFC would be wise to ride this momentum and quickly book the knockout artist another big featherweight showdown. Maybe even a No. 1 contender’s bout.
