Charles Bennett tasted his first victory since 2016 on Friday night (Aug. 9, 2024) at Island Fights 84 in Pensacola, Fla., when the combat veteran submitted Justin Howard to end a horrid 21-fight losing streak.

“Krazy Horse,” who made a name for himself earlier in his career as a member of King of the Cage, has fallen on hard times. Over the past eight years the seasoned veteran has dropped 21-straight fights overall. This includes bouts in mixed martial arts (MMA), boxing, bareknuckle fighting, and even shootboxing. Bennett suffered a knockout or submission in most of those fights.

On Friday, Bennett returned to action in an attempt to end one of the most insane losing streaks in recent combat memory. Most were expecting to see the 44-year-old fighter drop another L inside of the ring, but “Krazy Horse” finally captured the win he was looking for. It came in the form of a second-round, rear-naked choke finish.

Check it out below:

Bennett, who was coming off a TKO loss under bareknuckle MMA rules this past March, is now 31–46–2 throughout his professional MMA career and 1-16 in his last 17 trips to the cage. This is the victory Bennett was hoping for, but don’t expect a prolonged win streak anytime soon.
