Lerone Murphy kept his undefeated record in tact earlier today (Sat., Oct. 30, 2021) at UFC 267 live on ESPN+ from inside Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, as “Miracle” put an end to featherweight veteran Makwan Amirkhani via second-round knockout (knee and punches).
It was all Amirkhani in the early going as the grappler was able to take Murphy down and score some valuable top time. Murphy told his corner after the first round that he was just getting started and boy did he change things up in the second. The moment Amirkhani shot in for another takedown Murphy connected with a beautiful knee. Amirkhani toppled to the canvas and Murphy landed a few insurance shots before the referee stepped in.
