Ovince Saint Preux proved he still has a lot left earlier tonight (Sat., Sept. 5, 2020) at UFC Vegas 9 live on ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, when the former UFC light heavyweight title challenger finished Alonzo Menifield via third-round knockout (punch).
“OSP” used long jabs and whipping front kicks to the body to keep Menifield at bay. But when Menifield was able to close the distance on the feet he found a home for his power punches to keep the scores close. In Round 3, as Menifield stepped forward to exchange inside with Saint Preux, “OSP” countered with a perfectly-timed left hook. Menifield fell to the canvas in a heap and Saint Preux walked off with the win.

With this performance, Saint Preux gets a much needed win after producing a 1-3 record over his last four Octagon appearances. The 37-year-old veteran is still one of the most dangerous finishers at 205 pounds and proved that tonight to any skeptics doubting his abilities.
