Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is ready for a busy and wild night of fights as UFC 237 is primed and ready to kick off this weekend (Sat., May 11, 2019) from inside Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, featuring a women’s Strawweight title fight as Rose Namajunas defends her belt against Jessica Andrade.
Rose looks to defend her belt for the second time, while Andrade looks to get her first taste of UFC gold after coming up short in her first bid a few years ago. Co-headlining the PPV event is a Middleweight affair that will see former division champ Anderson Silva take on Jared Cannonier.
Also on the main card, former Featherweight title holder Jose Aldo will look for his second straight win when he battles the streaking Alexander Volkanovksi.
Before Rose, Jessica, Anderson and the rest of the top-billed fighters take care of business inside the Octagon, the talented combatants were on hand to promote the events by showing off their best moves during the open workouts.
