Rising women’s featherweight contender Felicia Spencer may have locked down a title shot opposite UFC champion Amanda Nunes after taking out Zarah Fairn via first-round TKO earlier tonight (Sat., Feb. 29, 2020) at UFC Fight Night 169 live on ESPN+ from inside Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Virginia.
It didn’t take Spencer long to move inside on the longer Fairn and take her down at will. Once there, Spencer methodically worked her way into mount where she landed sharp elbows in bunches. Fairn covered up and Spencer switched to a barrage of punches that eventually forced the referee’s hand.

With this performance, Spencer locks down her first ever UFC win after making an unsuccessful, yet very impressive, Octagon debut opposite Cris Cyborg last July. “Feenom” looked downright dominant in this co-main event affair and may have earned a shot at Nunes’ title later this year at UFC 250.
The only thing standing in Spencer’s way is this fabulous one-punch knockout.
