Bryce Mitchell returned to the Octagon in style earlier tonight (Sat., Dec. 7, 2024) at UFC 310 LIVE on ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, earning a devastating second-round TKO (slam and elbows) over grappling ace Kron Gracie.
It wasn’t the most popular PPV fight, but it sure delivered.
Gracie did what most thought he would as the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu expert kept trying to pull guard and tie up with Mitchell. “Thug Nasty” is a strong grappler, but the longer he fought on the ground the greater chances Gracie had of pulling out a sneaky submission.
Things would turn ugly for Gracie in the second round when he tried to pull guard again in the middle of the cage. Mitchell caught Gracie, put his forearm on his neck, and proceeded to slam him onto his back on the canvas. Gracie was stunned, but we was still conscious. That was until Mitchell unleashed two devastating elbows that put a brutal stop to the fight.
