Carlos Ulberg punched his ticket to the light heavyweight top 15 earlier tonight (Sat., May 11, 2024) at UFC St. Louis live on ESPN from inside Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri, stopping streaking contender Alonzo Menifield with a 12-second knockout (punches).
Evident by the stoppage time, this main card throwdown didn’t last long. Menifield, who is known to bust out of the gate, literally rushed Ulberg with furious intention. He may have connected on a punch or two, but the second Ulberg returned fire he clipped Menifield a few times before leveling him with a massive left hook. Menifield toppled to the canvas and the fight was waved off.

Ulberg, 33, has now won his last six trips to the Octagon. He has recorded four knockouts and one submission stoppage along the way and will land in the top 15 come next week. With a towering frame, incredible precision and shot selection, and one-punch knockout power, Ulberg is looking like a future contender on the rise.
