Zabit Magomedsharipov steamrolled Brandon Davis last night (Sat., Sept. 8, 2018) at UFC 228 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, to the tune of second-round submission finish.
It just so happened to be the second successful kneebar of the evening (the first can be seen here).
Davis started out fast and actually scored some good offense on the streaking Russian contender, but Magomedsharipov proved too slick in the second round when he rolled into back control and locked in a rare knee bar submission. Davis tried to last but eventually tapped.

With this performance, Magomedsharipov extends his unbeaten UFC streak to four, including three submission finishes. “ZaBeast” has quickly ascended to contention in the jam-packed featherweight division and is sure to land a top 10 opponent his next time out.
The talented Russian called for Chad Mendes or Jose Aldo before UFC 228.
