The action began with a bang earlier tonight (Sat., Feb. 22, 2020) at UFC Fight Night 168 live on ESPN+ from inside Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand, when women’s flyweight striker Priscila Cachoeira scored her first Octagon win with a first-round knockout stoppage over veteran Shana Dobson.
Cachoeira needed just 40 seconds to rush Dobson with furious combinations and then land a perfectly-timed uppercut that pierced Dobson’s guard and sent her to the canvas. Cachoeira went to score some insurance shots but the referee was there to quickly break the action up.

With this performance, Cachoeira locks down her first UFC win after dropping her first three appearances, including a debut loss to Valentina Shevchenko back in 2018. The 31-year-old Brazilian needed this win to stay afloat in the 125-pound division and ultimately made it look effortless.
