Former UFC veteran Houston Alexander (13-7, 2NC) was stopped cold Friday night in Montreal, Quebec, Canada by former pro-hockey player Steve Bossé (9-1). The two met on the main card of an Instinct MMA 1 card, with Bossé earning a second round knockout at 4:11 ending a five fight undefeated streak for Alexander.

Also fighting on the same card was former No. 1 UFC middleweight contender Patrick Cote, who won his third straight by first round TKO (injury) over Crafton Wallace.
