The biggest heavyweight boxing match in recent memory will finally unfold later today (Sat., May 18, 2024) live on DAZN PPV in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as Tyson Fury battles Oleksandr Usyk to crown the “Baddest Man On The Planet.”
Fury, who is the reigning WBC and lineal heavyweight champion, will be putting his undefeated 34-0-1 professional record on the line. He’s coming off a close decision win over former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou his last time out, but “Gypsy King” is still the betting favorite to leave Saudi Arabia victorious this weekend. To be exact, Fury is currently a -120 favorite to retain his title (complete betting odds HERE).
Usyk, on the other hand, is entering this massive title fight as the slight betting underdog. He’s the leaner, quicker, and more agile fighter, but he’s going to give up a lot of size to Fury. That didn’t stop Usyk against the likes of Anthony Joshua, Derek Chisora, or Daniel Dubois, but Fury is in a league of his own and will test everything Usyk has to offer.
It will be one of the best heavyweight clashes in years and a must-watch matchup smack dab in the middle of the afternoon. Check below for official start times and viewing details so you don’t miss a second of the action:
