The action will hit the squared circle later tonight (Sat., July 20, 2019) from inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, as boxing legend Manny Pacquiao (61-7-2, 39 KOs) takes on WBA (Super) welterweight champion Keith Thurman (29-0-1 NC, 22 KOs) in a fascinating main event clash on FOX pay-per-view (PPV).
Pacquiao, who is coming off back-to-back wins over veterans Lucas Matthysse and Adrien Broner, will try to hand Thurman his first professional loss and once again claim boxing glory. The 40-year-old legend lost a surprising decision to Jeff Horn back in 2017 but has since turned things around and looks to be back to his usual self.
As for Thurman, who came back from a two-year layoff to narrowly defeat Josesito Lopez back in January, he will be facing the toughest task of his career when he takes on “Pac-Man” on Vegas soil. The man known as “One Time” certainly has the punching power to disrupt Pacquiao’s speed and technique, but fight fans don’t know for sure how Thurman will handle the bright spotlight in a main event against one of the most popular fighters of this era.
