Former President of the United States, Donald Trump, is expected to make a huge arrival at UFC 309 later tonight (Sat., Nov. 16, 2024) LIVE on ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Madison Square Garden in New York City, making his first public appearance since winning a landslide 2024 Presidential Election earlier this month. Trump will become the 47th President of the United States when he’s inaugurated early next year.
Given Trump’s ties to New York and history of attending high-profile UFC PPV cards, it’s not a surprise to hear he’s planning to attend UFC 309 for a Jon Jones heavyweight title fight against Stipe Miocic. The former POTUS also has a close relationship with undefeated middleweight fighter, Bo Nickal, who fights on tonight’s PPV main card against Paul Craig. Nickal revealed earlier this week that Trump tried to become his manager a few years back so fans are assuming Trump will show up in time to see him compete.
Throughout fight week, Trump’s name has been brought up and all rumors point to him attending UFC 309 just two weeks after he handily won the election opposite Kamala Harris. Check out some of the insight below from the likes of Nickal and UFC CEO, Dana White:
Dana White is asked if Donald Trump will be in attendance for #UFC309 this weekend:

It would be quite incredible to see Trump make another walk to the Octagon inside MSG especially considering he was an inch away from losing his life earlier this year during an attempted assassination. Now Trump is about to watch Jones vs. Miocic at UFC 309 as the next President-elect and give New York’s finest even more to cheer about.
